From July to December 2024, I had to create a new tool to
run audit tests on given code to verify the code's
compliance to various coding conventions for clarity and
security.
I started by researching already existing open source,
maintained projects to do that and found clang-tidy. Then, I
had to integrate it in the software infrastructure of the
company's web application called Redpesk Factory. To do
that, I coded the tool as a micro service, independant of
the current web app that simply takes in the code and sends
back a Json file with the results to be displayed on the web
app. I made it such that anyone can give the tool their own
coding conventions to make it as versatile and accessible as
possible.
Today that tool is used by large companies such as Valeo,
Idemia, Thales or Safran to run audit tests on their own
codes' security and/or readability (and therefore the
maintainability of their codes)
During my studies, I created with 6 friends a homebrewing association called "L'Ordre du Malt" (the order of malt). I was the lead designer for the beer stickers, the posters and instagram communication posts, I helped organize events and trained new recruits that took over the job brilliantly after my 4th year in the student association.
As a minecraft creative mode fan, I have created a creative freebuild server called Liberland and built a community of ~100 players with ~15 active players at all times. The server was maintained and kept running for 5 years by myself and today still runs, administered by players I gave the server to. It was and still is a safe place for any minecraft player to express themselves freely, where we came together to celebrate events like christmas or new years.
